Physical Education
Physical Education (PE) is an integral subject for holistic education and development of all-rounded individuals. It educates the individual on the benefits of achieving a healthy and physically active lifestyle. PE is also an excellent platform for character education to take place.
The PE programme in Tampines Meridian JC consists of the following components:
- Games/Sports classes
- Lectures covering topics such as Nutrition, Physical Activities and Exercise, Sports Injury Management and Prevention
- Fitness and Conditioning classes
- PE Electives
Physical
Education (PE) inculcates in our students the passion for physical activities
and educates our students on the benefits of achieving
a healthy and physically active lifestyle. PE is also an excellent platform for
character education to take place.
The
PE programme provides our students with knowledge
for lifelong sports participation, practical and useful content through:
● Sports/ Games lessons
● Seminars covering topics such as
Nutrition, Exercise and Fitness, Sports Injury Management and Prevention
● Fitness and Conditioning classes
● PE electives
