Project Work

Project Work (PW) is a compulsory H1 subject that students take in the first year of college. PW aims to provide students with the opportunity to synthesise knowledge from various areas of learning, and critically and creatively apply it to real-life situations. This process, which enhances studentsʹ knowledge and enables them to acquire skills like collaboration, communication and independent learning, prepares them for lifelong learning and the challenges ahead. At the end of the project work cycle, students are assessed on their performance both as members of a group and as individuals through the following means: Written Report, Insights and Reflections and Oral Presentation.

To support students’ PW journey, the PW Department adopts Design Thinking as a methodology. Solutions are thus developed using a human-centric approach, an approach which is becoming increasingly crucial in solving real world problems today.
