Direct School Admission

Be part of the Tampines Meridian Experience!  You could be an exceptional sportsperson who has represented the State or are playing for Singapore Schools Teams or Clubs at the national level. Alternatively, you could be a performer with laudable talent, performance experience, and competition achievements.  In addition, you treasure enriching learning experiences, look forward to a well-rounded college life, and aspire to contribute to it.

Direct School Admission Junior Colleges (DSA-JC)

DSA-JC is an admission exercise to allow JCs/Institutions to select Secondary 4/5 students for admission to JC1 based on their achievements and talents before the GCE ‘O’ Level examination results are released. It provides students the opportunity to demonstrate a diverse range of achievements and talents in seeking admission to a JC/Institution.

Meridian Junior College will be merged with Tampines Junior College in January 2019. The College will be known as Tampines Meridian Junior College (TMJC). As such, applications for DSA admission to JC1 2019 will be to TMJC.
The 2018 Direct School Admission Exercise for students who wish to seek direct admission into JC1 in 2019 is now closed. You may find out more about DSA-JC by visiting the associated MOE website.

2021 Direct School Admission Exercise (DSA)

The DSA-JC exercise aims to promote holistic education by giving participating JC/CI the flexibility in selecting secondary school students for admission to JC1 based on their achievements and talents while upholding key principles of transparency, fairness and meritocracy. It provides students with the opportunities to demonstrate a more diverse range of achievements and talents in seeking admission to JC/CI.

Be part of the Tampines Meridian Experience!  You could be an exceptional sportsperson who has represented the State or participated in competitions at the national level or you could be a performer with laudable talent, performance experience and competition achievements. Come and join us if you treasure enriching learning experiences, look forward to a well-rounded college life, and aspire to grow and contribute to the College.

The 2021 DSA-JC exercise at TMJC is open to students who wish to seek direct admission into JC1 in 2022.  Graduating students from Singapore secondary schools can apply for DSA into TMJC during the application period. The application information will be provided by mid-May.
